The gang run process essentially means that we take everyone's individual orders, lay them out together on one large sheet, print one set of films, make one set of screens, create one custom die cut per run and print everyone's stickers at one time. Your sticker file, along with up to 30 or so other customers will all print together on one gang run.
We waive the cost of the films and screens, so that customers don't incur those charges. This means that you can get an incredibly high end, silkscreen stickers for a fraction of the cost of typical full color silkscreen sticker printers.
Printing CYMK silkscreen stickers with the gang run process can be complex, as each sticker file has it's own unique color requirements. What we print is the best overall solution for all the customers on the sheet. Colors of a light shade that use small quantities of all 4 process colors are the hardest to balance. Bear this in mind when designing your sticker. Generally, CMKY values under 10% can get lost in the screen - they should try to be kept either 0 or 10.
Turnaround Time Can Vary...
As stated above, our printing process is much different than other vendors. As such, precise shipping dates are not possible. We understand that the wait can sometimes be difficult, but we think that the unsurpassed sticker quality and excellent price will outweigh the additional production time.
That said, depending on when your approved artwork is processed will determine the actual turnaround time. If your artwork happens to be among the final files needed to fill a gang run sheet of stickers, your turn time can be less than a week. If your artwork is one of the first to files to begin a sheet's layout, your turnaround time will be longer. Once you understand our process, we think you will agree that our quality and price are worth the wait.
