We asked you to Draw our beloved Sticker Robot Mascot and OMG you Delivered!!

To say that we were overwhelmed by the response is the understatement of the year. Just look at this gallery of INCREDIBLE robots!!! (This isn’t even all of them because some people submitted multiples).

It’s such an incredible gift to us that you all have shared your time and your art with us. We are incredibly moved and inspired by every single one you.

Draw a Sticker Robot? Tell me more…

We’ve talked about doing this for a million years and it’s finally happening:  Sticker Robot’s First Ever DRAW A STICKER ROBOT Campaign Yeeeeeeee™

We’ve seen so many incredible renditions of our beloved mascot through the years.  It thrills us every single time.   And now we want to see YOURS.

 

The Rules:

The rules are simple. Re-imagine our beloved Sticker Robot Mascot.

We want this campaign to be a celebration of robot art for all ages and mediums.  So, please encourage anyone you know to enter – From now through June 17th!

Send us your art via photo, pdf, tiff, animation or any digital medium.

There will be prizes awarded…

We’re not calling this a contest, but it’s more fun if we give things away, right?  There will be prizes awarded:

   1.  One participant will be awarded:  1,000 Stickers!
This can be a design of your choosing: your robot or a completely different design.
(max size 3″ x 4″)

   2.  Three ADULT participants will be awarded:  250 Stickers
This can be a design of your choosing: your robot or a completely different design.
(max size 3″ x 4″)

   3.  Three CHILDREN participants will receive:  A stack of 50 robot Stickers printed with their awesome Sticker Robot design.

Art can be submitted two ways.  We want to celebrate all submissions:

   1.  Share it on Instagram. Please tag @stickerobot & use our hashtag #stickerobot

We’ve been printed up many a sticker for customer Philip DeMartino and its been hugely inspiring for us to follow his project online @wheremyeyesland.

Philip’s work is a collision of collage, street art and urban portraiture. And where a lot of sticker art is a strictly visual pursuit, @wheremyeyeland adds another dimension with the unexpected human connection that comes from photographing an anonymous stranger holding a sticker.

Much like all of you, we’ve spent our recent days in a state of deep reflection on the ways in which we (as a company, as individuals, as artists) can better stand against racial injustice in this country. Art will always be a powerful tool for change.

We are acutely aware that performative activism by companies serves no one. Now more than ever there must be a continued push for change in this country from the giant corporations down to small businesses like us.

We are currently printing and giving away this sticker to promote solidarity, to stand against racial injustice and to help support the message: BLACK LIVES MATTER. The stickers are FREE (2 for the cost of the stamp, one order per customer) via the link in our bio. We must all do more. Let’s keep this momentum for change going with our art and our voices.

A Community Storytelling Project with Stickers…

THE TRUTH IS PRISONS ARE…

With a thought provoking, deeply involved community storytelling project, Artist and Social Activist Hank Willis Thomas has invited members of the public to complete the statement “The Truth Is…”

In a recent collaboration with our friends at the Amplifier Foundation, Thomas has created a new Sticker Campaign, asking people around the country what THEIR truth is when looking at the impact of the US prison system on their lives.

By printing thousands of thought bubble Stickers with the words, “THE TRUTH IS PRISONS ARE…” on the front with an explanation of the sticker campaign printed on the paper backing, then passing of them out around the country, the public has responded.
