At Stickerobot, we offer two types of sticker printing. Silkscreen Sticker Printing for maximum durability and extreme color vibrancy, and Digital Sticker Printing for very faster turnaround and all sorts of cool Speciality Stickers.
Each sticker printing process has unique strengths and setup requirements. Here’s what to expect when printing with us:
Silkscreen Stickers

Some Things to Keep in Mind…
Slight registration shifts (≤1pt) may occur
CMYK halftones = visible dot pattern on gradients
Tiny text/reverse text should be 8pt+
Die-cutting tolerance = 1/8″
Production time (usually 2–3 weeks)
Digital Stickers
Why choose Digital Printing?
Quick turnaround (typically around 3–5 days)
Smaller minimum quantities (50 stickers)
Great for complex designs or short deadlines
Excellent detail reproduction (fine lines, small text)
Smooth gradients and photo realistic printing
Precision die-cutting (1/16″)
Some Things to Keep in Mind…
Less outdoor durability than silkscreen
Thinner, non-printable paper backing
Good colors, but less vibrant than silkscreen
File Setup Tips (Both Methods)
File Types: PSD, AI, PDF, TIFF, EPS, SVG, PNG, HEIC, JPEG
Resolution: 300 dpi at actual size
Color Mode: CMYK (not RGB)
Text: Outlined or rasterized
Cut Lines: Provide clean die lines if possible, but we are happy to help
Silkscreen Bleed/Safety Area: Add 1/8″ bleed and 1/8″ safety (0.125″); keep important elements 1/8″ inside trim
Digital Bleed/Safety Area: Add 1/16″ bleed and 1/16″ safety (0.0625″); keep important elements 1/16″ inside trim
Silkscreen files should avoid overly fine detail or gradients where clarity is critical.
Digital files can handle more complexity, but high-res art always works best.
Color Accuracy
We print in CMYK. RGB files will be converted to CMYK.
Slight color variation is normal between screen, print, and reorders.
Pantone matching available for silkscreen (extra fee).
Cutting & Die Lines
Silkscreen: Die cuts may shift slightly (up to 1/16″).
Digital: Die cuts may shift slightly (up to 1/32″).
Pro Tip: Avoid critical graphics near the edge of your design.
Production Time
Silkscreen: 2–3 weeks (may occasionally take longer)
Digital: 3–5 business days (most quantities)
Need extreme quality? Go with Silkscreen Stickers.
Need it super fast? Go with Digital Stickers.
Want cool, fancy holographic or glitter stickers? Go with Specialty Stickers.
In any case, let us know your deadline..
Reprints & Issues
No refunds on custom stickers, but we got your back. We will always reprint and ship for free if we mess up.
Natural quirks like slight color shift or minor mis-registration don’t qualify.
For real issues, contact us. We’ll make it right.
Extras (usually) & Shortages (seldom)
We always print about 10% over to ensure that there are no mess ups. And most often we include those extra stickers for free. (yay!)
Rarely, you may get slightly fewer—we’ll fix it if it’s significant
